"Football is peace, football is health, football is friendship, and football is a way of life. We have conducted the first stage of the championship in rather short time. It was not a marathon, but a sprint race. And today here, in Kyiv, the best gathered to determine the winner of the first stage. No matter who would win, all the teams participating in the finals are the best of the best. Today there will not be losers. During this period, we all have become better, stronger and goal-oriented," Head of the Socialist Party of Ukraine and President of the Ukrainian National Federation of Street Football Illia Kyva said at the opening of the tournament.

Kyva also thanked everyone who was involved in the organization and holding of the championship.

"This tournament was organized by different structures: the Ukrainian National Federation of Street Football, the Football Federation of Ukraine, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Education. The national police, it would seem to be a supervising authority, but also joined the organization of the championship. Thank you all! And believe me we all pursued one goal - that the faces of the children have more smiles and see more children's joy," he said.
