Head of the Socialist Party of Ukraine (SPU) Illia Kyva delivered an address to Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Chief Vasyl Hrytsak, demanding to stop persecution against members of the SPU, the press office of the SPU reported on the party's official website.

"I officially address SBU Chief Vasyl Hrytsak!

I know you as a patriot, as a man, under command of whom I was at the front for one year and a half. I am sure that you will not stand up for Poroshenko's treacherous regime, but will continue acting in the interests of the state and the Ukrainian people, as you did at the front. I urge you to stop the pressure and persecution against members of our party, as well as people who help us in the fight against the dictatorial regime of Poroshenko.

After all, Poroshenko's actions cannot be called otherwise than as a manifestation of dictatorship and betrayal!

Owners of billboards in different regions through the SBU were ordered not to advertise the campaign of our party, and all our regional party leaders should be taken under control of the SBU service and, if required, have preventive measures applied. Our boards have already been destroyed in Kherson, Luhansk and Chernivtsi regions. The placement of advertising is hampered in other areas, in particular, in Chernihiv and Zaporizhia.

The deputy head of the SBU for politics personally "strongly recommended our Donetsk colleagues not to hang billboards." Yesterday, Deputy Mayor of Mariupol Serhiy Zakharov along with SBU officers at the meeting in the architecture department gathered all the entrepreneurs of the city's advertising business and, under threat of taking away licenses and cutting their billboards, personally banned advertising the SPU campaign in the city.

Mr. Poroshenko is so much afraid of us that he is ready to break the law. But we will not turn from our path under the pressure of dictatorship! We have the right to our position and our duty to liberate our country from the dictatorial regime of Poroshenko!" Kyva said in the statement.

As reported, the Socialist Party of Ukraine launched the "Ukraine without Poroshenko!" campaign aimed at removing the incumbent president from power. In the course of this campaign, signatures for the resignation of Petro Poroshenko are being collected.
