The choice of Ukrainians indicates the need to revise the relationship of the state with the people - Ilya Kyva

The preliminary results of the voting at the presidential elections are a consequence of a significant deterioration in the standard of living and indicate the need to revise the relations between the state and the people. The leader of the Socialist Party of Ukraine, Ilya Kyva, said this on the TV channel “112”, the press service of the SPU informs on the official site of the party.

“I look at the Zelensky phenomenon, and it seems to me, that this is the result of the denial of the society of politics as a whole. A person, who has spent his whole life on the stage, has nothing to do with the construction of the state, to the institutions of politics, today he receives credibility from actually a third of the voting population. This is the result of all the chaos and impunity of the orgy of 27 years, of which the last 5 years have been the cherry on the cake. In this case, we need to globally revise the system of relations between politics, the state and citizens. After all, by such actions we will lose the country”, he said.

At the same time, I.Kyva added, that “everything, that happens - is a consequence of a savory life, because objectively life has become much worse.”

He also commented on the intrigue around the outcome of the second round, saying that "people are tired of difficult phrases and beautiful speeches, that do not improve their lives."

“The best anti-advertising from the government is monthly bills. In everything that is happening, I see changes, that will enable us to work on the bugs, consolidate, strengthen and begin to change life for the better. Today’s choice of Ukrainians, even Zelensky, is a step towards democracy, towards the democratic development of our society and at a turning point in the oligarchic system. Everything is in our hands, and we will definitely win”, said the politician.
